The toads shown in the photo below are Cane Toads, commonly known in the Philippines as Hawaiian frogs.
There are two “decorative” pools/ponds at C-Park at UPLB that are normally empty. They are kept empty as much as possible, but whenever it rains hard enough, like during a typhoon, the two pools fill up and can have water in them for several weeks. Consequently the pools become a mating ground for toads. One morning I was out shooting and came across these two resting on a palm leaf. One of them doesn’t look too happy. Maybe Ms. Toad said no.
