View of Manila Across the Pasig River

I was taking a walking tour around Intramuros in Manila.  Intramuros or the “Walled City” was built during the Spanish colonization of the Philippines and was the pride of Spain in Asia during that time.  The photo below was taken from Fort Santiago, which guarded the entrance into the Pasig River, and gives a view of a part of the city of Manila.

The image below is composed of 3 photos combined in Photomatix to produce a HDR image.  I am in no way an “expert” at HDR, but that doesn’t stop me from trying.  If you are new to HDR (High Dynamic Range) photography, I suggest you head over to the Stuck In Customs blog of Trey Ratcliff.  He has a tutorial and a whole bunch of amazing HDR photos.  I admire his work. Good stuff.
